Generalized parton distributions of the kaon and pion within the nonlocal chiral quark model

In this proceeding, we discuss the properties of the kaon and pion generalized parton distribution functions within the framework of the nonlocal chiral quark model. We discuss the behavior of the generalized valence quark distributions in the pion and kaon with respect to the variables x, ξ, and t. At ξ = 1, we observe that the explicit chiral symmetry breaking significantly affects the valence quark distributions of the kaon compared to the pion case. This difference results in a small gravitational form factor D(t = 0) for the kaon, compared to that of the pion. Finally, we present the predictions for the ratios of the gravitational form factors of the kaon As̄/K+ (0)/Au/K+ (0) = 1.257 and Ds̄/K+ (0)/Du/K+ (0) = 1.1. © Copyright owned by the author(s)
