Tensile and Compresive Behaviors of Smart Electrorheological Materials

초록

This work presents tensile and compressive stress of ER fluids. In order to measure these properties, a squeeze mode tpye test apparatus is establised. The field intensity, electrode velocity and initial gap size are chosen as three principal parameters. In the tensile test, the maximum tensile strss is evaluated.
