초록
In this study, numerical solution of the flow field in the case that propeller open water test is executed in towing tank and cavitation tunnel is sought for the theoretical analysis on the effect of a fixed object for the flow field in a restricted region. Navier-Stokes equation is adopted. Governing equation is discretized using Finit Volume Method. Baldwin-Lomax turbulance model and body fitted grid system is used. The effect of propeller is modeled by the use of body force distribution. The H41 propeller dynamometer is chosen for calculation, which is used at KRISO. The differences of advance ratio, thrust and results of propeller open water test in a towing tank. Also the changes of blockage effect according to the variations of the sectional area of the cavitation tunnel and the shape of the propeller dynamometer are estimated.
