NCC 기반 고속 움직임 추정 기법

초록

This paper proposes a fast exhaustive block matching algorithm based on the normalized cross-correlation, where the elimination order is determined based on the gradient levels of subblocks in the macroblock. We derive Multi-level Cauchy-Schwartz inequality to avoid unnecessary block matching calculations. From simulation results, we can find that the proposed algorithm provides outstanding search performance relative to existing algorithms.
