초록
A bio-enamel was prepared by coating bioactive glasses on a titanium metal by using double layer coating method. The ground coat was for the improved bonding between glass and titanium, and the cover coat was for the formation of hydroxyapatite. The glass coated-titanium was heat-treated in an Ar-atmosphere. The bulk bioactive glass with the same composition of the cover coat was also prepared. These samples were reacted in a simulated body fluid and examined the hydroxyapatite precipitation. The hydroxyapatite forming rate was much faster on the bio-enamel than the bulk bioactive glass.
