NTD control project report in the centre region of Cameroon (2019-2021)

초록

Introduction : NTD is Neglected Tropical Disease, a group of 20 different diseases prevalent is tropical regions that affect mainly poor communities worldwide and have severe nutritional imbalances in young children. The disease has devastating health,social and economic consequences for more than a billion people world wide. more than half of all diseases are parasitic disease, including Soil transmitted helminths and schistosomiasis. In Cameroon, located in western central Africa, 5 million children are exposed to schistosomiasis each year, and 10 million cases of Soil transmitted helminths have been reported.
