Angelica gigas 뿌리배양을 이용한 decursin 유도체의 생산

초록

The root of Angelica gigas is well known crude drug used in the treatment of gynecological disease in traditional Korean herbal medicine. Recently decursin and decursinol angelate, which are major pyranocoumarins in Angelica root, were found to have cytotoxic activity against various human cancer cell lines. In this study, production of decursin and its isomer, decursinol angelate, using root cultures of Angelica gigas was investigated. Production of decursin was not noticed in root cultures, but decursinol angelate was produced. The specific yield of decursinol angelate from cultured root was 0.1%(w/w). When methyl jasmonate was added into root cultures of Angelica gigas, significant elicitation of decursinol angelate was observed.
