초록

Insulin resistance in the liver and peripheral tissues, together with a pancreatic cell defect, are the common causes of Type 2 diabetes. Protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPases) play an important role in the regulation of signal transduction pathways and the phosphorylation of proteins.
