A Study on Structural Efficisncy of Bulkheads under Uniform Pressure

초록

A comparative study on the structural efficiency of bulkheads under uniform lateral pressure is carried out. Two types of bulkheads are considered: stiffened panel system and corrugated panel system. In the plane bulkhead, two types of stiffener sections are considered: flat bar and T-section. The efficiencies of bulkheads are compared between bulkhead system under various design conditions such as bulkhead pressure, panel length, stiffener type, corrugation shape etc.
