Analyzing coupling efficiency of focusing waveguide grating couplers with local linear grating model and Bloch wave analysis

In order to analyze the overall coupling efficiency of focusing waveguide grating coupler, Bloch wave analysis and local linear grating model are has been combined, where the coupler is divided into a number of subsections with a uniform period and each subsection is treated by Bloch analysis.
