HVAC systems in harmony with global environment of Korea

초록

In order to provide for the regulation of conventional refrigerant consumption and carbon dioxide emission as well as to preserve the environment, it is very important at this point to develop alternative refrigerants and applications for those. Therefore, HFC-134a, HCFC-22, R502, ternary blend, etc., are being focused as the new refrigerants which will substitute for the conventional refrigerants. The technologies for utilizing the bio energy, geothermal energy, and ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC) are being developed as the typical solution for the environmental problems we face with. In addition, the conventional technologies have been updated to deliver us new heat exchangers, air conditioning units, air handling units, etc., which are more efficient and environmentally friendly.
