비엔나의 이질적 도시성을 통해서 본 한스홀라인의‘차이’와‘이접적 종합’개념에 관한 연구

초록

This study is to reconsider Hans hollein's architecture, a Pritzker-prize winner of 1985, in the viewpoint of critical regionalism, and to express that duplicity and diversity involved in his architecture, actually turns disjunctive synthesis that recognizes the 'difference' to represent Vienna. In other words, reinterpreting Vienna's history and reenacting it with confutative architectural languages on the basis of Austrian history and culture, he has replaced western rationalism stressing 'identity' with discontinuity and heterogeneity, to represent the modernity in which tradition and future are coexisting. The study aims at recompose Hollein's thought that links Haas haus with Stephansdom and Michaeler Platz, through an investigation of Vienna, 'the composit city'.
