Abstract - This paper is based on the results of analysis table of IEEE 1584, which analyzes the size of standard equipment installed in the electrical wiring design The safety clause of NFPA 70E and the results of analysis table are actually applied by US companies. The number of safety equipments, etc. are presented in more detail. The countermeasures that can reduce secondary damages caused by arc flash are also proposed.
