초록

With a view to avoid heavy investment in space and facility, a new process called URC has been developed. This process allows an upflow velocity of 20 m/h over the lamella. Under these conditions, the reduction of 80% of TSS, more than 85% of P, and 90% of BOD were achieved. The weighted flocculation additives allows to obtain denser flocs and to make from sludge the porous ceramics which can be utilized as soil conditioner.
