초록

An experimental research has been made to investigate the dynamic effects of free surface tank due to water flooded on deck and the water flowed into damaged compartment of a RO/RO hotcoil vessel onto the stability. For the experiment, a bench tester which can simulate not only pure roll, but also coupled motion(roll-sway-heave) was developed and applied using hydraulc control system. The practical and important data obtained from this study, such as shape of waves, tank moment and phase angle, are anticipated to be applicable for further nonlinear fluid dynamic researches including mathematical analysis of coupled motion
