초록
The needs of floating harbour are increasing because of the increment of the size of container carriers. For the safe operation and high efficiency of floating harbour, the needs of floating breakwaters are also increasing. For the evaluation of wave attenuating capacity of floating breakwaters in large waves, a two-dimensional numerical simulation method is developed to simulate nonlinear free surface such as wave breaking and overtopping wave near moving bodies. In this paper, the wave attenuating by a floating breakwater are numerically simulated with the developed numerical method. The governing equations are Navier-Stokes equations and the continuity equation. To consider the characteristics of turbulence smaller then a grid, sub-grid scale turbulence model is implemented.
