건축 디자인 스케치와 구체화된 건축공간과의 관계에 관한 연구

초록

This study intends to reexamine the meaning and the importance of presentation sketch in the process architectural design. The study attempts to reflect the relationship between architecture and painting and to explore the communication and representation of design sketch in its significance and effectiveness in the process of architectural design. The study, in particular, concentrates on Steven Holl's sketch works of watercolor in order to investigate how the phenomenological field is to be represented into architectural space through this peculiar medium. The argument is focused on his endeavor to express the experience of being through his watercolor sketch as a thinking device upon phenomenology.
