Electrospun Polycaprolactone(PCL)-Spirulina nanofiber as a scaffold for cell culture.
초록
Electrospinning is a simple and useful techinique to make microporous nanofibers. The electrospun mesh is recognized as potential scaffold for cell culture and tissue engineering. Polycaprolactone(PCL) is a widely used biodegradable and biocompatible material. However, hydrophobicity makes it difficult to be used in cell culture. Spirulina, blue-green microalgae, is recognized as feed additives, dietary supplement and health food. Spirulina cell mass has many positive effects such as inflammatory reduction, anti-oxidant and blood cholesterol reduction. In this research, we fabricated spirulina containing PCL nanofiber and examined its potential in cell culture engineering
