초록
Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) mainly occurs unilaterally and is a very severe pain distributed in the second and third division of the trigeminal nerve. The nature of pain is electric shock-like, shooting, stabbing, or sharp, and is induced by spontaneous or innocuous stimuli [1]. In International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3rd edition, TN was classified into idiopathic, classic, and secondary TN; idiopathic and classic TNs were subdivided into purely paroxysmal and concomitant continuous pain subtypes. © The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2023.
