An Efficient Caching Method for Location-based Mobile Application

Location-based mobile applications have been brought to public attention from the development of mobile Internet technique. Several studies have been made on disconnected operation, as one quality of mobile Internet environment is disconnection. However, cached data are used for disconnected operation, cannot be used to estimate based on contents, as it does not have semantic information. Semantic caching method that is researched to solve a problem cannot be applied to location-based applications. In this paper, we proposed new semantic caching method is based on Recognition of Navigation Query Type. Proposed caching method solves the overhead of spatial operation and can predict the regular and continuous mobility of mobile clients.
