초록

The chiral Titanium salen complexes immobilized on mesoporous MCM-41 by multi grafting method showed a relatively high enantioselectivity for the addition of trimethylsilylcyanide to benzaldehyde. In that case, only the homogemeous and symmetrical catalysts were used, but also it is difficult to recover this type of calalyst from the product mixture as compared to the heterogeneous catalyst immobilized on a porous support.
