Study of the Eu(III)-glycine-thenoyltrifluoroacetone systerm by using the fluorimetric technique

In the paper , glycine acts as a specific reagent for enhancing the fluorescence intensity of Eu(III) complex with TTA. The spectrofluorimetric determination of trace amounts of glycine based on theabove system was carried out and its luminescence mecanism was studies. The method involves the reaction of glycine with Eu(III) and TTA to produce a ternary complex which exhibits a high fluorescence intensity at 613nm with excitation at 306nm.The interfence of other rare earths and some of inorganic ions are described.
