초록

For the applications of communications, 1.31 um/1.55um wavelength optical add/drop filters with Ta2O5/SIO2 multi-layers were designed and deposited by Plasma Ion Assisted Deposition (PIAD). Optical add/drop filters needs low insertion loss and high isolation at the border of transmission and reflection. Therefore it is composed of the two filters. One is to transmit the light of 1.31um and to reflect that of 1.51um at the incident angle of 45o. The other is vice versa for the two wavelengths.
