Gray Level Reproduction and Dynamic False Contour Reduction on PDP by Single Error Diffusion

초록

Faithful reproduction of gray levels in dark areas and reduction of dynamic false contours are of importance to improve image quality on PDP. This paper presents a unified method with single error diffusion to solve both of the above problems simultaneously. Also, a simple gray level reproduction technique is proposed and utilized in the unified method.
