Development of Assessment System for Buried Pipeline Integrity

초록

The object of this investigation is to develop an assessment system for the buried pipeline integrity. The internal algorithm and the database of the assesment system are described in this paper. The system consist of four module applications; the effect of corrosion in pipeline, crack, SCC(stress corrosion cracking) and fatigue module. The database of the system is divided into mainly four parts; geometry of pipeline, material properties, boundary condition and general properties. This system may also provide a guideline for maintenance and modifications
