Numerical Analysis of Unequal Web Sizing Multi Perforated Propellant

초록

Configuration of propellant is major function that affects performances of the gun system. In case of multi-perforated propellant, the web size is necessary to study that grain configuration function. Existing study, variation of the web size have been simulated to analyze the performances but both Inner Web and Outer Web are same cases only. In this study, 7-perforated propellant of the unequal web have been simulated to analyze the performances using the numerical code of the interior ballistics and the relationship among variation of the unequal web, maximum chamber pressure and muzzle velocity have been obtained. As results, increasing of unequal web ratio more affects performances of the gun system such as decrease of maximum chamber pressure and muzzle velocity
