A Study on the New Maximum Power Point Tracking Control Algorithm and Efficiency

This paper studies the operational characteristics of MPPT and MPPT control algorithm. At maximum power point tracking of photovoltanic power generationsystem changes with atmospheric condition. An important consideration in the design of efficient PV system is to track the MPPT correctly. Therefore, this paper shows the simulation result that always operation at MPPT. The work was carried out by new MPPT algorithm that is based on P&O MPPT and incCond MPPT algorithm. In order to confirm the availability of the scheme, a simulation study used general purpose circuit simulation software ACSL. This algorithm has successfully tracked the MPPT, even in case of low insolation for atmospheric change.
