유한요소해석을 이용한 선체구조의 피로강도 평가

초록

The fatigue strength of ship structures can be evaluated from both simplified fatigue analysis and the cyclic stress approach. The simplified fatigue analysis is commonly used at the early stage of design. However, the cyclic strain approach is an appropriate method for the fatigue life assesment at stress concentrated area with notches. The paper describes on the fatigue strength of the logitudinal web frame of 310,000 ton double hull tanker. The guidence for fatigue strength assesment issued by KR and cyclic stress approach are applied to obtain the fatigue strength of the same structure. Also the commercial FEM software(MSC/FATIGUE) is used to compare the results to confirm the applicability of the mentioned methods.
