FFD를 이용한 칼라 프린터에서의 칼라 매칭용 LUT 설계

초록

Color Matching LUT(Look Up Table) has been widely utilized for compensating the color distortions in the digital color printers. In this paper, a new way of building the color matching LUT is proposed to reduce the number of color samples. The FFD(Free Form Deformation), that has been applied for the two and three dimensional fitting in the computer graphics areas, is employed for modeling the color distortions. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method yields the comparable LUT modeling errors with the only 1/7th of the color samples needed for the conventional LUT design method.
