Learning Objectives 1. To describe the imaging features of pulmonary cryptococcosis and correlate them with clinical information 2. To learn the imaging pattern of pulmonary cryptococcosis with various cases. 3. To be familiar with uncommon manifestations of pulmonary cryptococcosis BACKGROUNDS: The incidence of pulmonary cryptococcosis has increased with advance in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Because the clinical presentations, radiographic features, and laboratory finding are non-specific, so it may be misdiagnosed. We illustrated various radiographic features of pulmonary cryptococcosis with CT images using pattern analysis. Imaging findings: To illustrate CT imaging pattern of pulmonary cryptococcosis 1. Nodule or mass A. Solitary nodule or mass i. with cavitation ii. without cavitation B. Multiple nodular pattern i. Clustered ii. Scattered C. Pneumonia pattern i. Bronchopneumonia ii. Other pneumonia (segmental distribution) D. Associated radiographic findings Brief literature review: correlation of radiologic imaging finding with immune status SUMMARY: Pulmonary cryptococcosis may appear with various image patterns; however the knowledge of relatively frequent image finding may be helpful for accurate differential diagnosis.
