초록
We have succeeded in effectively restoring the coupling efficiency between the strip waveguide and the photonic crystal waveguide by the tuning of inlet hole position for controlling the photonic surface cavity states at the interface. Using this method, the coupling efficiency is improved by up to ~88% at any interface truncations of the photonic lattice.
