Tailoring triarylboranes for catalytic applications
초록
The high Lewis acidity and unique steric hindrance of BCF, primarily attributed to the effects of the C?F?substituents, has enabled its application in a broad range of transformations using frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) chemistry. In recent years, the development of novel triarylboranes has emerged as a promising strategy to overcome these constraints. These modified boranes can control steric and electronic properties, enabling more selective catalysis and access to previously inaccessible reaction pathways. In this context, we have explored the synthesis of both symmetric and asymmetric triarylboranes.
