Seperation of low grade lump talc by using leap-bound peaker

초록

Large amount low grade talc ores having size ranges of 17~65mm are being wasted in Korean talc mine. A Leap-bound picker developed for seperating the dump size ore is applied to recover the talc concentrate from the wasted low grade talc ores. Based on the result of test, the leap-bound picker appears to be very effactive seperator when optimizing the operating factors such as rotation speed of drum, chute anles and falling distance. The optimumresult shows that the talc concentrate having 84.7% yield os obtained 88.0% recovery.
