Thus, this study was performed to investigate the incidence of BHR and the risk factors of BHR in Korean children with allergic rhinitis. Methods: Thirty children with perennial allergic rhinitis were evaluated with total IgE, blood eosinophil count and serum concentration of ECP. They also underwent spirometry, methacholine provocation test, and skin prick test. Results: The prevalence of BHR was 20%. The level of total IgE was not different between BHR-positive and BHR-negative children with AR. The concentration of blood eosinophil and serum ECP were significantly increased among BHR-positive subjects. The skin test reactivity to other allergen except house dust mites ,….
