Development of a third rail type current collector for a steel-wheel AGT system

초록

Korean standard specification for the light rail transit prescribes for the application of third rail type current collector. The third rail type current collector developed in Korea has link mechanism and spring action so that interruption with conductor rails is minimized and the life cycle of shoe is lengthen. Based on the Korean standard specifications and the requirements for the current collector is designed and manufactured. With a rotary disk type equivalent testing equipment, the wearing of shoes and interruption with conductor rails are measured and evaluated as changing contact force and running speed.
