Studies on the stability constants of complex between rare earth elements and etylenediaminediacetic acid

The stability constants of complexes between rare earth elements and ethylenediaminediacetic acid have been measured by potentiometric method. TTThe pk1 of MA+ complex are in the range 8.80 -6.72 and pk2 ofMA2- complex are 7.43 - 4.37.The magnitude sequence3 of the stability constants are the reverse seqence of ionic size of rare earth element.
