초록

Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) blend has been reported as a marginally miscible system with a weak enthalpic interaction, χ12 0 [1], implying that it often can be immiscible depending on the temperature and composition [2]. As a novel method to examine this specific interaction between these polymers and inorganic component, an interaction parameter was introduced and used [3]. In this work, our continuous efforts on the study of the characteristic internal structures and changes of rheological properties caused by the presence of organoclay at nanolevel were further investigated using WAXD, TEM, and rotational rheometer.
