A Study on Applicability of Pataphysics as Architectural Design Thinking Through an Analysis of Experimental Architecture of Archigram and John Hejduk

The thesis, through the notion of pataphysics invented by the French playwright Alfred Jarry, attempts to reconsider the present situation impossible to be read by existing representational vocabularies, to analyze the abstract thinking and poetic(mythical) imagination implicated in Archigram's and John Hejduk's architecture, which seem to be accomplished by an incessant abrogation of conventional architectural language, and to verify if it is possible for pataphysical thinking to intervene in architecture as a measuring point for examination on the cognitive character of today's digital public.
