수치조파수조를 이용한 두 밀도층에서의 해양파 수치모델링 및 결과 비교
Numerical Modeling of Internal Waves in a Two-layer Fluid by a Numerical Wave Tank
초록
Internal waves exist on the interface in a two-layer fluid, while surface waves propagate on the free surface. Two simultaneous waves generated by an oscillating body are simulated using the Numerical Wave Tank (NWT) technique in both time domain and frequency domain analyses. The NWT is based on boundary element method with the assumption of potential flow. The leapfrog method is used as a time integration scheme in the time domain. Wave elevations calculated in the time domain are compared with those in the frequency domain. The amplitude ratios of surface waves to internal waves are compared with those of analytic solutions to examine the characteristics of each wave mode.
