초록

The ultrasonography(USG) to see the musculoskeletal(MS) structure was tried for about 50 years ago(Dussik, 1958), and much later McDonald used USG to differentiate the Baker’s cyst from the thrombophlebitis in 1972. Since then rapid advances in the effective ultrasound devices and high-definition probes was initiated. [McDonald, 1972] Although there are some differences between the countries, more and more rheumatologists are joining to do the USG in their daily clinical practice worldwide
