Separation and preconcentration method for palladium and gold from some heavy metals using amberlite IRC 718 chelating resin,

The purpose of the present work is to expore the possibility of Au(III) ions from matrics by using an Amberlite IRC 718 chelating resin. The absorption behavier of Au(III),Pt(II),Ti(VI),Ag(I) , Cu(II) and Fe(III) on the resin was based on the affinity different. The paper describes the systematic investigation of column separation and preconcentration of Au(III) as their chloro complexes from acetic acid solution on Amberlite IRC 718 chelating resin.
