Heavy duty transporter operating support system development based on augmented reality to support safety block transit for offshore structures construction

초록

The offshore structure is constructed by prefabricating blocks such as the hull and topside, and then assembling the blocks. Individually manufactured blocks are loaded on the transporter and moved to the next workshop called paint shop, PE(pre-erection) area, dock and so on. In most cases, one transporter operator and two to four safety watches perform block transport for the operation of the transporter. Due to the logistics situation in a complex shipyard, transporters and traffic signals in operation are exposed to the risk of collision and there is no systematic support for them currently. To minimize these risks, we have designed and developed the necessary parts for the block logistics support system that can be used in the transporter. In order to confirm the applicability, we conducted the test in the environment where the offshore structures are constructed.
