Design and Fabrication of Active ETC Antenna in Korea

Throughout the operation of Electric Toll Collection system, RSE (Roadside Equipment) are required to provide radiation pattern which can accurately pinpoint the designated communication area. The authors have completed development of a such an antenna. M icrostrip patches were attached in rows, at appropriate intervals, based on excitation distribution using the sequential rotation method. We gained the best values respectively for the number of microstrip patches, the intervals and the excitation distribution.
