초록

This paper proposes a low-cost Switched-mode Rectifier(SMR) with sensorless Maximum Power Point Tracking(MPPT) control in Wind Power Generation System(WPGS). The high synchronous impedance of the PMSG with the SMR can act as an inductor of a boost converter, so that the SMR with the impedance of the PMSG can replace the conventional boost converter. The sensorless MPPT control is controlled by changing the duty-ratio of the SMR. The relation of the generating power to the duty-ratio is applied by chain rule. Computer simulations of the total system verifying the proposed concepts are presented.
