Modeling of Anchoring Strength on the Fringe-Field Switching

초록

In this paper, we report the ingluence of surfacd anchoring strength of the optical switching behavior. As a test vehicle, we have chosen the LC cell structure having the fringe-field swiching(EFS) layer. The directro distribution is calculate by usion three dimensional finite difference method(FDM), while the surfacd director has a various anchorin stringth. Moreover the optical analysis is performed by 2*2 extended john's method. According to our result, the lower transmission intersity is obtained with the same voltage in the weak anchoring
