Determination of safety control criteria for monitoring data considering temperature effect

Safety control criteria for monitoring data are usually pre-determined in the initial stage of setting a measurement system. They are typically determined based on the analytical results or expert experience depending on the sensor type for the measurements. In some cases, the safety control criteria are defined in an official document based on the previous studies. However, it has not been seriously investigated if such pre-determined safety criteria actually control the measured data well or not. It is necessary to examine the properness of a pre-defined safety control criteria using the measured monitoring data. The current study is to evaluate a safety control criteria with the consideration on the temperature effect. A statistical evaluation method is applied to reset the safety control criteria.
