Three Dimensional Elasto-plastic Stress Analysis
초록
This paper deals with the residual stress distribution in castings developed during casting process. The thermal strains are estimated with the temperature distribution which was obtained using the finite difference method. We developed an algorithm to interpolate the nodal temperatures by the finite difference heat transfer calculation onto the finite elements nodal values. Thereafter, the residual stress components in three dimensional FE model were analyzed. In order to investigate the size effect of a feeder on the residual, two cases of different feeders were compared. As a result, our proposed algorithm was considered to be qualified.
