Recently, general purpose real-time monitoring systems have been developed and used with improvement of the computer and communication technology. The approach presented in this paper supports the object-oriented methodology at server side and the comaptibility among vendors through the sandardization of additional abstract layer for monitoring system on the top of the standard distributed binary object model such as CORBA of OMG and COM/DCOM of Microsoft
