Temperature Dependence of Central Wavelength of Narrow Bandpass Filters Produced by Plasma Ion-Assisted Deposition

초록

The central wavelength stability under temperature change is important for narrow bandpass filters such as DWDM filters. When an ambient temperature changes, the optical path lengths of layers in the filters may change because of the thermo-optical and thermal-expansion effects, and film-substrate strain relation, resulting in the central wavelength shift.
