Strength Relationship between Plane Strain and Triaxial Tests

초록

The strength relation between triaxial and plane strain tests were expressed as a function of density and mean normal stress at failure. Stress ratio of mean normal stress to deviatoric stress at failure is a well defined function of shear angle of friction and the ratio decreases with increasing shear angle of friction.
